About the creators...
Jonathan and Sarah been faithfully married for 19 years, and in full-time children's, youth and family ministry for almost that same amount of time, serving in both Christian camp and local church roles. They have two children whom they deeply love and have been central to the creation of "Toon Into The Word." Jonathan is the Head Pastor of a small church in Twin Peaks, CA. and is finishing a Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling from Southern California Seminary. Sarah is a superhero of a mom and wife, and glue of the family. Together, they serve Jesus with all their hearts. They also experienced childhood in the 90's, so… they are totally rad.
This all began with a simple desire: "How do we help our own children see the deep spiritual message of the gospel in a language that they can understand.... cartoon!"
Little did we know that this little idea would turn into an incredibly deep and long personal journey of healing and growth as we discovered the power of the simple, sweet, and beautiful truth of Jesus to fight the very real powers of evil that entangle us all.
